For exported PDF files, you can specify if the files should be opened immediately in Adobe Reader or another PDF reader to check the results. The PDF reader must be installed under Windows and linked to the PDF file type. Exported graphic files in *.bmp, *.jpg, *.gif and *.emf formats can also be opened immediately after export. You will also need to have an appropriate viewer for each of these file types that is linked to the corresponding file type, which is not always the case in older Windows versions.

For the function Search Records for Identical Persons in the Personal Data menu, you can specify whether names are to be taken into account in addition to dates.

The separator between multiple godparents or witnesses is usually a comma: 'Name1, Name2' or 'RecNo1, RecNo2'. If you would like to use a comma for separating various information about each godparent or witness, you can also use a semicolon here: 'Name1, Place1, Occupation1; Name2, Place2, Occupation2'. Changes to this option will not change the saved data. It will only affect the interpretation of saved data during the Gedcom conversion, integrity check and file card output.

If the output of the color scheme in the hint window of person boxes is activated here, a hint window with detail of the color scheme appears after short time if the mouse points to a person box in the treeview.
