The available measurement units include the metric units mm for length and square meter for area as well as the English units inch for length and square foot for area.

The date entry format is the format used in entry fields and in displays in various dialogs. It is only used for the user interface. The option Show a list of month numbers and names when editing Hebrew dates makes it easier to enter month numbers when you only have the names of the months.

Note: FamilyTreeFactory can use other date formats for output that are independent from the date entry format. The date output formats will be shown in person boxes and file cards and can be set in the Treeview Options, Box Content tab.
