The dimensions of the boxes, the gender-based curve radii of the box corners, the photo height and various distances can be entered here. The photo height is limited by the box height and the distances to the box frame. The photo width is based on the width/height ratio of the image. If the box width is not large enough, the photo will be reduced in height and maintain its width/height ratio.
If the checkbox Equal box heights in all generations is not marked, it is pointed out that the box heights can be adjusted only manually in the treeview:

With the button How to do? you can get short instructions for the manual adjustment of the box heights in the treeview. Details can be found in the section Functions in Treeviews in the sub-sections Left Mouse Button and Right Mouse Button.
Till now unequal adjusted box heights will be adjusted to the maximum of them, if the option Equal box heights in all generations or the value in the spinedit Height is changed and if all options are accepted by clicking OK or Apply.
Note 1: If on the Automatic Width/Height tab the checkbox Use Automatic Width/Height function is marked, the width and height of the boxes cannot be set manually, as this is performed automatically. |
The line width entered here is used for solid color box frames, for frames on Free Text Objects and Person Indexes. The frame width is used for image frames created from Box Frame Images.
Shadows are turned on with the checkbox On. The shadow type can be diffuse. The grayscale can be adjusted; smaller values create a darker grey.
Some values are dependent on others. The Info... button opens an information window with details.
The preview shows the end result using sample data and sample images based on the Treeview Options set in the tabs Box Content, Box Font and Box Colors.
Note 2: The dimensions are not valid for the print justification setting Use paper format for size (see the tab Printer Page). In this case, the graphic will be enlarged or shrunk to fit the paper format as well as possible while maintaining a constant width/height ratio. The resulting size can be seen in the Print Preview Information Window. |
