From every dialog, extensive What's This help can be called up:

What's This help for the objects in the user interface such as buttons, entry fields and checkboxes can be called up with various methods:

With the mouse, click on the button at the top right of the dialog and then on the object in question with the modified mouse cursor.
Press Shift + F1 and then click on the object in question with the modified mouse cursor.
Click on the object in question with the right mouse button and activate What's This help in the menu there. This method only works if the object does not have its own menu, such as Copy/Paste in entry fields.

In many dialogs, there are spinedit controls for entering numbers. They can be set as follows:

Click on the arrow keys in the spinedit control to set the last number (small steps).
Use the Up and Down arrow keys on the keyboard to set the last number (small steps).
Use the Page Up and Page Down keys on the keyboard to set the second-to-last number (large steps).
Enter the numbers directly with the keyboard.

Invalid entries (such as those that exceed permissible limits) are marked in red. In such cases, the closest permissible value is taken on when the spinedit control is no longer selected.
